Compare two explanations

Use two approaches as a starting point for checking the reasoning.

1. Check the starting problem

Confirm the recognized question matches the original, including signs, units and diagrams. Two models can work consistently from the same incorrect transcription.

2. Follow the transformations

Read each step and compare how the approaches handle a formula, substitution or simplification. Look for assumptions and the point where the approaches differ.

3. Ask about a step

Use a follow-up to explore why a formula applies or how a transformation works. Any comparison flag is an AI suggestion, not proof that a solution is right or wrong.

4. Practice again

Work through the question without looking at the result and check it against the original. Matching answers can still share an error; ask a teacher when you need a reliable explanation.

Check your reasoning

The goal is to understand the method. Follow your school’s rules and use the explanations to review your own work.
